Toshiro bag review

The pattern worked really well, perfectly sized and well placed holes etc. The video helped cover the order of the whole job and showed the tricky kittle bits really well. In the end a great bag, fantastic.

Great bag pattern!

Love this pattern and the professional look of the completed project.

Only thing I would caution is that the button stud locations for the front pocket flap are a bit off (they are a bit inset from where they should be). I would recommend to anyone doing this project to wait until the flap is mounted and straps positioned before punching any button stud holes. It’s not bad enough for me to redo the front flap, but it’s definitely noticeable that the front flap straps aren’t straight.

All in all, I would highly recommend this pattern, and I’m planning to build the bigger backpack version next.

PDF Pattern and Instructional Video for Toshiro Bag by Vasile and Pavel

This package contains:
- PDF pattern (printable) for A0, A4, and letter size paper.
- video instructions + list of materials and tools

The leather bag is lined with stiffeners and pigskin. The advantage of lining is that you obtain a sturdy bag that will keep its shape over the years.

It also allows you to use thinner leather that will ensure the bag is lightweight.

The Toshiro bag contains three pockets and a generous inside compartment.

The bag features straps which can be easily adjusted to preferred lengths.

You will find a list of materials, hardware and tools in the PDF pattern file. There is also a link to the video instructions.
