This is the largest bag I’ve made so far but it came together really nicely and was a pleasure to make. The video is worth watching and very informative. Thank you!
It's really a nice pattern. I have made two, so far. I changed the proportions easily for a different size. I used an old high quality artificial leather for interiors together with a different colored genuine leather, quite white and grey.

for making a big travel bag that can be used also as a gym bag or a weekender.

MATERIALS
- BODY: around 15 sqft (1.4 sqm) 6 oz (2.4 mm) leather.
- CONTRAST LEATHER: around 5.5 sqft (0.5 sqm) vegetable tanned leather
- LINING: 2.5 oz (1 mm) leather
- 1 mm waxed thread
- edge dye
- glue
HARDWARE
- 20 1/2" (52 cm) zipper - the part with teeth
- 4 x 1" (20 mm) D rings
- 2 x 1 1/5" (30 mm) buckle
-2 snap fasteners
TOOLS
- cutter
- 1/16" (1.5 mm) round hole punch
- needles
- rubber mallet
- cutting pad
