Vasile and Pavel patterns are always easy to follow and turn out great with a bit of care and attention to detail. This is the third one I've made and is no exception. I modified it to have a buckle closure at the request of the person I made it for and they loved it. I made a matching belt to go with it.

The video tutorial was well done and easy to follow from start to finish. The end product was excellent and far surpassed my expectations (relative to my nascent leather working abilities). The pattern was precise and the tutorial gave me the confidence necessary to take on this project even though I had no previous experience. This contains the PDF pattern and a video tutorial that will walk you through the process of making a leather hip bag.
This fanny pack is comfortable to wear and accommodates all your daily items, including your phone and wallet.
This pouch is helpful when attending a festival, going on a trip or going shopping.
You can make 3 hip bags from 11 sq ft (1 sqm) of leather.
The project requires minimal tools like a hole punch, a cutting mat, a mallet, needles and a cutter.
You will find a list of materials, hardware and tools in the PDF pattern file. There is also a link to the video tutorial.
