Magda Backpack, PDF Pattern & Instructional Video
This is a PDF pattern and a detailed video tutorial for making a laced leather mini backpack.
Featuring adjustable straps and closed with a buckle, this small backpack can contain all your daily items.
The backpack is laced with leather instead of stitching and this gives it a vintage look and feel. You can make the lace yourself or you can buy it.
This is a reproduction of a backpack that I designed 20 years ago for my friend Magda which she is still wearing. I added a picture of this rucksack in the listing.
You will find a list of materials and tools you need along with the link to the video tutorial in the first page of the PDF pattern.

MATERIALS
BODY: 4.3 sq ft (0.4 sqm) of 4 oz (1.6 mm) leather
The straps, the back and the lid of the backpack are lined with 2.5 oz (1 mm) leather
đĄ For the straps you will need 40" (100 cm) long pieces of leather. It is advisable to cut them first.
Around 20 meters lace of leather made from 2-3 oz (1 mm) leather. The lace has 0.14" (3.5 mm) width
