A messenger bag with three pockets, which never goes out of style, makes you stand out in the crowd. It is spacious, accommodating a 13" MacBook and a bunch of other items besides. The construction is simple but quite labor-intensive, taking about two full days.
You will find a list of materials, hardware, and tools in the PDF pattern file. There is also a link to the video instructions.
