Leather Zippo Case Pattern with 3D Printed Leather Mold PDF Pattern + STL Files
This package contains the PDF for the Zippo case pattern, STL files for the 3D printed leather molds and a detailed tutorial for how to make them.
💡 With 3D molding technique you can obtain consistent, perfect results every time. With 3D molds you can obtain high end product finish with little or no experience in leatherwork.
The STL files contain molds for 2.0-3.5 mm (5-9 oz) leather thickness.
▶ 2.0-2.4 mm (5-6 oz)
▶ 2.3-2.7 mm (6-7 oz)
▶ 2.6-3 mm (6.5-7.5 oz)
▶ 3.0-3.5 mm (7.5-9 oz)
💡 If you intend to reuse the mold for many projects, I recommend printing at 100% infill.
💡 If you want to use it for a project, we recommend still going for at least 25% infill + 8 layers thickness for the walls.
⚠️ Protect the mold when using it with woodworking clamps.
💡 Please watch the video as well. For this project it is mandatory.

Each pattern page clearly states the difficulty level — Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced. We recommend starting with a Beginner pattern if you are new to leatherwork. For Advanced patterns, prior experience with at least 2-3 bag projects is recommended.
Each pattern includes a full materials list with leather thickness, weight in ounces, and quantity needed. We recommend vegetable tanned leather for best results. Specific recommendations are included in every pattern.
