- CONTRAST LEATHER: 7.5-9 oz (3-3.6 mm) vegtan leather.
- SHOULDER STRAP: 7.5-9 oz (2.8-3.6 mm) leather. You need a piece of 30" (75 cm) for the longest shoulder strap.

Each pattern page clearly states the difficulty level — Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced. We recommend starting with a Beginner pattern if you are new to leatherwork. For Advanced patterns, prior experience with at least 2-3 bag projects is recommended.
Each pattern includes a full materials list with leather thickness, weight in ounces, and quantity needed. We recommend vegetable tanned leather for best results. Specific recommendations are included in every pattern.
