Free Leather Archery Quiver Pattern + Video Tutorial

This was the first "large" project since getting back into working with leather. It was easy enough to not feel daunting, but big enough to feel a sense of accomplishment. I did make a second modified set of the accent straps to use as the belt straps, and I think it looks great.

Just started cutting out the pattern. Easy to print, assemble, and transfer to leather. Will show final quiver soon.

I completed this pattern over a weekend in about eight hours. I sewed it completely by hand. I did not use most of the marked stitching holes except for the bottom. I used a rolling stich marker instead. I did make a couple small changes. I used D rings instead of round rings. I had to change the tab design to connect these to the body. I added some stitching detail to the straps to narrow the belt opening. I used rivets instead of snaps since I was not worried about having to undo my belt to put the quiver on and off. I doubled up the leather for the bottom plug and added a binding stitch to the saddle stitch to help keep it flush. I stitched the bottom in first before completing the side seam to make it easier to do. I saw one small error in the pattern. The body has one to many stitching holes compared to the bottom piece. Even with the end holes sharing the hole at the point of the bottom. This was not a huge deal. I doubled up on the opposite side to compensate. I can't wait to try this quiver on the archery range in my medieval garb!

I recently joined an archery club and I needed a quiver, so this was a really easy project, I got it done over a weekend, but if you're using pre-dyed and treated leather you could finish this in a couple of hours.

Pattern holes are spot on. Easy to assemble and it looks great!
