Simple but beautiful. Very easy to follow and to achieve a satisfactory result despite not having the artist's ease of work.
The pattern produces a nice small pouch and is quick to produce.
Excellent learning project where the method can be applied elsewhere.
Not being too sure of the value of hip/waist bags I thought I would give this a go. I enjoyed it so much that I found I was neglecting other items that I had accumulated to make during the dark, dank winter months. I was happy to do so.

This small pouch is easy to do and versatile: you can put it on a belt, chest belt, bandolier or backpack. The loop on the back allows you to use it vertically or horizonytally.

A cutter, round hole punch, hand stitching needles, rubber mallet and cutting pad. No sewing machine required — all our bags are hand stitched.
Each pattern page clearly states the difficulty level — Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced. We recommend starting with a Beginner pattern if you are new to leatherwork. For Advanced patterns, prior experience with at least 2-3 bag projects is recommended.
Each pattern includes a full materials list with leather thickness, weight in ounces, and quantity needed. We recommend vegetable tanned leather for best results. Specific recommendations are included in every pattern.
