Leather Sling Bag, PDF Pattern & Video
This is a detailed instructional video and a PDF pattern for making a leather sling bag with two pockets and an adjustable shoulder strap. It is roomy and can accommodate everyday essentials: a phone, a long a wallet make-up, keys etc.

TALL: 14" (36cm) WIDE: 9 - 2 3/4" (23 - 7 cm) DEEP: 2" (5.5 cm) Shoulder strap (longest strap): 37" (95 cm) MATERIALS - BODY: 4.5-5 oz (1.8-2 mm) semirigid leather. You can make at least one sling bag from around 7.5 sqf (0.7 sqm). - SHOULDER STRAP: 7.5 oz (3 mm) semirigid leather. You need a piece of at least 37" (95 cm) for the longest shoulder strap. - 1 mm waxed polyester thread - leather glue - edge dye HARDWARE - 1 x 1 3/16" (30 mm) buckle - 1 x 1 3/16" (30 mm) swivel snap hook - 2 x 1" (25 mm) D rings - 1 x Sam Browne stud - 1 x 11 1/4"(28.5 cm) zipper - 1 x 8 1/4" (21 cm) zipper TOOLS - cutter - needles - 1.5 mm hole punch - cutting mat - mallet Enjoy!
