Black Shadow Swingarm Bag

The Pattern was easy to follow, however there was an issue with 2 of the straps not being long enough.
for the 2017 model XL883N, the forward most strap, and the bottom strap should be longer. I took the supplied pattern and added 2 inches to the front strap, and 4 inches to the bottom strap in order to solve this problem.

The bag went together well, and looks good on the bike. I plan to reverse the pattern and make a bag for the exhaust side of the bike as well.

PDF Pattern and Instructional Video for Black Shadow Swingarm Bag by Vasile and Pavel

This package contains:
- PDF pattern (printable) for A4, and letter size paper.
- video instructions + list of materials and tools

for a swingarm bag named Black Shadow.

A friendly gentleman with a black motorcycle wanted a swingarm motorcycle bag (and a symmetrical one for the left side of the bike). He wanted it as large as possible within the available space, with stitching that wouldn't reduce its volume, and positioned so it wouldn't be hit by the footrests. It seems that I got the bag just right because it looks great on the bike. The bag is easy to make and doesn't require a lot of leather. I lined it, but it can also be made from thicker leather.

You will find a list of materials, hardware, and tools in the PDF pattern file. There is also a link to the video instructions.
