Eva Crossbody Bag

I made the bag from 2mm thick dark brown waxy pull-up leather. I lined the 3 main panels (not the gussets) with 1mm calf leather to ensure the finished bag kept the lovely design shape. I used 1.2mm holes, and 1mm dark brown thread.

I really liked the “V” pattern stitch, so added a little more to the handle. Just waiting for the strap material to arrive - using 12mm wide, 3.5mm veg tan, with trigger clips to allow easy removal when required.

I loved making this bag, the “V” stitch looks really stunning, and was surprisingly easy to do. I tried using the bent needle technique shown in the video, but found using an ordinary straight needle passed completely through first the layer - then lined up with the second hole and passed through, was much much easier and a lot quicker.

Keep you patterns coming!
