I haven't built this bag yet but after reviewing the pattern and Video I can tell it will be just as straightforward as previous V&P patterns that I've completed. I love these guys. Everything goes together perfectly the first time and I always end up with a great looking product.

Another brilliant design

If you want to make beautiful leather goods, there is no easier way to start than a V&P pattern. Beautifully designed, easy to execute, wonderful videos to walk you through it. Over time, as your comfort level increases, you can start to play with the endless options to modify and personalize based off their patterns. This is another gorgeous simple classic design that can be sent in many different directions based on leather choice.

- BODY: 3-3.5 oz oz (1.2-1.4 mm) leather lined with 2 oz (0.8 mm) pigskin and 1.5 oz (0.6 mm) stiffener (TALYN, available on ETSY.COM). Approximately 7 sqft (0.6 sqm) leather.
- CONTRAST LEATHER: 6 oz (2.4 mm) leather
- STRAPS: 7 oz (2.8 mm) leather
- 1 mm waxed thread
- edge dye
- glue

HARDWARE
- 1 LOXX closing clasp
- 2 x 3/4" (20 mm) buckles
- 1 x 1.4" (35 mm) buckle

TOOLS
- cutter
- needles
- 1/16" (1.5 mm) hole punch
- cutting mat
- mallet
