The Emma tote is a lovely size for carrying my iPad and a few other important papers. It was a very enjoyable sew. The patterns are always very clear and pattern pieces fit well. V&P always make great patterns!

The Emma leather tote bag is roomy, features handles and closes a zipper. The pattern is easy to make and the result is a classic shopping bag tote. The video instructions are very detailed and guide you through the process.

- BODY:8-9 sqf (0.7-0.8 sqm) of 4.5 oz (1.8 mm) vegetable tanned leather for the body of the tote
- LINING:
BOTTOM: 3-3.5 oz (1.2-1.4 mm) rigid leather
HANDLES AND LOWER STRIPE: thin rigid leather of 1.5-2 oz (mm) thickness
- CORD: soft cord 3/8" (9 mm) in diameter. Around 60" (150 cm)
- 1 mm waxed polyester thread
