Knife Roll PDF Pattern, Video Tutorial, Leather Chef Knife Roll DIY Gift

This contains the PDF pattern and a video tutorial that will walk you through the process of making a leather knife roll.
The video tutorial will help you customize this pattern for your own set of knives.
Featuring an adjustable shoulder strap, a handle and closed with two buckles, this chef knife roll is stylish and can make a beautiful gift for any cooking enthusiast.
This project requires around 5.5 sq ft (0.5 sqm) of 5 oz (2 mm) leather for the exterior and the cover of the roll, around 5 Sq ft (0.4 sqm) of 4 oz (1.4-1.6 mm) leather for the interior of the roll, and some long pieces (maximum 43” (110 cm) of 7-8 oz (2.8-3.2 mm) leather for the shoulder strap and closing straps.

STRAPS, STRIPES, HANDLE: some scraps and a 43/1” (2.5/110 cm) long piece of 7-8 oz (2.8-3.2 mm) leather for the shoulder strap
💡 It is advisable to cut the long pieces first.
LINING: 2.5 oz (1 mm) stiff leather
1 mm waxed polyester thread for the 1.5 mm holes
