This sandal pattern comes with an instruction video - as everything on V+P site - and is both clearly explained as it is intuitive. You get the range of patterns in the most common sizes for a good price. It is suitable for printing on an A4 printer. The tools and materials are clearly listed as well. I’m still in the process of making my first pair but the prepared pieces are coming nicely together! Recommended.

This package contains:

These leather Greek sandals are comfortable to wear, sturdy and fit perfectly on your feet.
For this DIY project you will only need some scraps of leather, a rubber sole and minimal tools.
This project will make a good use of scraps of leather you might have.
INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEO

SIZES (7 sizes)
- 36 - 42 EU size
- 5.5 - 11.5 US size
MATERIALS
- STRAPS: 6 oz (2.4 mm) vegetable tanned leather
- LEATHER SOLE: 10 oz (4 mm) vegetble tanened leather. It is preferably to line 6 oz (2.4 mm) vegetable tanned leather with 4 oz (1.6 mm) leather to achieve 10 oz leather.
- 1/3-3/4 ” (9-20 mm) EVA Foam or a pair of flip flops sole. You can buy them locally or online or from an Etsy shop like this: https://www.etsy.com/listing/828822777/
- leather glue
- waxed polyester thread
- edge paint
- 40 grit sandpaper
HARDWARE
- 2 x 3/5" (15 mm) buckles

A cutter, round hole punch, hand stitching needles, rubber mallet and cutting pad. No sewing machine required — all our bags are hand stitched.
Each pattern page clearly states the difficulty level — Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced. We recommend starting with a Beginner pattern if you are new to leatherwork. For Advanced patterns, prior experience with at least 2-3 bag projects is recommended.
Each pattern includes a full materials list with leather thickness, weight in ounces, and quantity needed. We recommend vegetable tanned leather for best results. Specific recommendations are included in every pattern.
