What you'll make
Luna is a leather hobo shoulder bag with a curved top, adjustable straps and an inside sleeve. The pattern includes two versions:
- Luna 1: body in 6 oz (2.4 mm) vegetable-tanned leather, closed with a strap and a Sam Browne stud.
- Luna 2: body in 3 oz (1.2 mm) crazy horse leather lined with 2 oz (0.8 mm) pigskin, with contrast leather trim and a LOXX closing system.
What's in your download
- PDF pattern in A4, Legal and US Letter sizes. Print it at home on regular paper.
- DXF file (optional). This is a file for laser cutters and other digital cutting machines. You do not need it to make the bag.
- Video instructions that show the build. The link is inside the PDF.
- List of materials, hardware and tools, also inside the PDF, so you can order everything before you start.

Skill level: Intermediate
This is a multi-day project (over 16 hours). You should be comfortable with hand stitching, edge finishing and setting hardware. If you are new to leatherwork, start with one of our beginner patterns first, then come back to Luna.

What fits: the inside sleeve holds a tablet up to 11", a small notebook or planner, a wallet and a phone. The main compartment has room for keys, sunglasses and everyday essentials.
