Steampunk Leather Bag Pattern, Men Travel Laptop Camera Bag Pattern & Tutorial
This contains a PDF pattern and a detailed video tutorial for making a large size steampunk leather bag pattern, with copper and metal features and accessories. This is a soft steampunk style bag, created specifically for everyday use, while keeping its steampunk looks. It can be used as accessory for a steampunk party, convention and also as a everyday carrying bag for all your gear.
The inside of the bag is very spacious and can accommodate a laptop, a photocamera, lots of other electronics you might need, even some clothes, if you plan a short getaway during the weekend. It has a A4 documents partition at the back of the bag. The strap is adjustable and made from durable vegtan leather.
Altough it has a copper handle and other copper accessories all over, it is surprinsingly lightweight. This bag will keep its shape for many years, even if you carry heavy stuff, due to its perfectly conceived pattern.

✪ BODY: 1.2 sqm 0.8 mm pull up leather. You can use a semirigid 2.6-2.8 mm vegtan instead, if you like.
✪ LINING: 0.8 mm pigskin lining for the backpack bottom
✪ STRAPS: 0.2 sqm 3.6 mm vegtan (long pieces)
✪ 1 mm waxed thread
✪ edge painting

A cutter, round hole punch, hand stitching needles, rubber mallet and cutting pad. No sewing machine required — all our bags are hand stitched.
Each pattern page clearly states the difficulty level — Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced. We recommend starting with a Beginner pattern if you are new to leatherwork. For Advanced patterns, prior experience with at least 2-3 bag projects is recommended.
Each pattern includes a full materials list with leather thickness, weight in ounces, and quantity needed. We recommend vegetable tanned leather for best results. Specific recommendations are included in every pattern.
