It's unfortunate that you don't spend more time putting out a higher quality product. Ruining leather because your patterns have different hole counts and locations on mating surfaces is very frustrating. It only takes an extra minute to confirm you designed it correctly. I now look at the design only and create my own hole spacings and locations. Not an issue I have with Creative Awl patterns.
Easy pattern and fun to make. Didn't really follow the instructions, it was easy enough that I didn't need to.

A cutter, round hole punch, hand stitching needles, rubber mallet and cutting pad. No sewing machine required — all our bags are hand stitched.
Each pattern page clearly states the difficulty level — Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced. We recommend starting with a Beginner pattern if you are new to leatherwork. For Advanced patterns, prior experience with at least 2-3 bag projects is recommended.
Each pattern includes a full materials list with leather thickness, weight in ounces, and quantity needed. We recommend vegetable tanned leather for best results. Specific recommendations are included in every pattern.
