- BODY: approximately 11 sqft (1 sqm) 4.5-5 oz (1.8-2 mm) upholstery soft leather. There will remain leather, but you need a 34" / 6'"/ (86/15 cm) long piece for the gusset.
-ACCENTS: 4-4.5 oz (1.6-1.8 mm) stiff leather.
- STRAPS : body leather lined to achieve 8-9 oz (3.2-3.6 mm) (long pieces)

A cutter, round hole punch, hand stitching needles, rubber mallet and cutting pad. No sewing machine required — all our bags are hand stitched.
Each pattern page clearly states the difficulty level — Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced. We recommend starting with a Beginner pattern if you are new to leatherwork. For Advanced patterns, prior experience with at least 2-3 bag projects is recommended.
Each pattern includes a full materials list with leather thickness, weight in ounces, and quantity needed. We recommend vegetable tanned leather for best results. Specific recommendations are included in every pattern.
