- BODY:11 sqf (1 sqm) of 5.5 oz (2.2 mm) vegetable tanned leather for the body of the tote
- CONTRAST LEATHER: 3-4 sqf (0.3 sqm) of 7.5-9 oz (3-3.6 mm) veg-tan for straps and accessories (be sure to have the length for the straps)
- INSIDE SLEEVE: 2-2.5 oz (0.8-1 mm) leather
- 1 mm waxed polyester thread

Each pattern page clearly states the difficulty level â Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced. We recommend starting with a Beginner pattern if you are new to leatherwork. For Advanced patterns, prior experience with at least 2-3 bag projects is recommended.
Each pattern includes a full materials list with leather thickness, weight in ounces, and quantity needed. We recommend vegetable tanned leather for best results. Specific recommendations are included in every pattern.
