This is a fun little pattern that yields a nice pen cup. It is a lot of stitching for a pretty small thing, but I happen to enjoy stitching.
Fun project. I’m making a few for Christmas presents. Really nice looking using matching pedals or dyeing every other a different color.
These are great you can't just make one, everyone who sees them wants one for their desk, fun to build sitting in front of the television

This is a detailed tutorial and pattern for making a cup for pencils in the shape of a tulip. The pattern is available in two sizes and is great for organizing all your leathercraft tools and other items.

LARGE TULIP CUP
TALL: 5" (13 cm)
WIDE: 3 - 4 3/4" (8-12 cm)
SMALL TULIP CUP
TALL: 4 3/4" (11 cm)
WIDE: 2 1/2 - 4" (6.5-10 cm)
MATERIALS
- 2.5-3 oz (1-1.2 mm) firm leather lined with 2.5-3 oz (1-1.2 mm) leather
- 1 mm waxed polyester thread
- leather glue
- edge dye
TOOLS
- cutter
- needles
- 1/16" (1.5 mm) hole punch
- cutting mat
- mallet
