This package contains the PDF pattern for the belt leather pouch, STL files for the pocket 3D printed mold and a detailed tutorial for how to make the leather pouch with molded pocket.
š” With 3D molding technique you can obtain consistent, perfect results every time. With 3D molds you can obtain high end product finish with little or no experience.
The STL archive contains STL files for the standard father mold and for 4 different mother molds depending on the leather thickness you want to choose:
ā¶ 2.0 mm (5 oz)
ā¶ 2.5 mm (6 oz)
ā¶ 3 mm (7.5 oz)
ā¶ 3.5 mm (9 oz)
š” Try to have the mold a little bigger or the same with the leather thickness. For example, if you have 2.8 mm leather, I would use the 3 mm mold, if you have 2.6 mm, you can use the 2.5 mm mold.
š” The package contains the PDF pattern for back of the pouch and the loop. For the molded part, use the mold as pattern and cut it larger than the mold. Follow the video instructions.
š” The STL files are archived. You can use WinRAR (https://www.win-rar.com/) for PC or WinZip (https://www.winzip.com/mac/en/rar-for-mac.html) for Mac to extract the files.

š” If you want to have a sturdy mold, go for 90% infill. You can go down to 30% if you do not need to reuse the mold many times.
š” If you print at high infill, I advise on using a rectilinear pattern of printing.
š” Sandpaper the mother part. I would use something like 80 grit.
ā ļø Protect the mold when using it with woodworking clamps.

Yes. Patterns come in A4 and Letter size for home printing, and A0 for a print shop or plotter. Files include printing instructions and a separate video tutorial showing exactly how to assemble the sheets after printing.
Yes, you are free to sell finished products made with Vasile and Pavel patterns. Credit for the design is appreciated but not required.
A cutter, round hole punch, hand stitching needles, rubber mallet and cutting pad. No sewing machine required ā all our bags are hand stitched.
Each pattern page clearly states the difficulty level ā Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced. We recommend starting with a Beginner pattern if you are new to leatherwork. For Advanced patterns, prior experience with at least 2-3 bag projects is recommended.
Each pattern includes a full materials list with leather thickness, weight in ounces, and quantity needed. We recommend vegetable tanned leather for best results. Specific recommendations are included in every pattern.
As these are digital downloadable products, we do not accept returns after download. If you experience any technical issues with your files, contact us and we will resolve it immediately.
