Iām so excited to start this project and with the complete pattern and documentation from Vasile and Pavel, I feel confident I can make it turn out great! Thanks for sharing your creativity through these amazing patterns!
I made this pack specially as a weekender / carry on sort of thing. The build went well and it looks pretty good. Iām definitely happy with it overall. I had to shorten the shoulder straps and I suspect most people will, but that is easier than making them longerā¦. I also added a neoprene pad to the shoulder straps to provide a little comfort. Iām on a cross country train trip and had planned to use itā¦but, the attachment of the shoulder straps (top) is inadequate to a heavy load, rather it was holding but pulling at the thread enough that I wasnāt sure it would not fail. This is an easy fix, just sandwich the loop between two pieces of leather, but I couldnāt do it in the time I hadā¦

I liked this pattern from the first look. It looks originally and stylish. I hadn't yet make it, but I'm sure, phisical item will look also great.
Good size, and the pockets are a good practical size also. And it looks good

MATERIALS
- BODY: approximately 13-16 sqft (1.2 - 1.5 sqm) 4.5 oz (1.8 mm) leather.
If use thicker leather (5.5-6 oz (2.2-2.4 mm) you don't have to line the leather on the front panel, only on the back and the bottom.
- SHOULDER STRAPS : body leather lined to achieve 8-9 oz (3.2-3.6 mm).
-CONTRAST STRAPS: 8-9 oz (3.2-3.6 mm) leather
-LINING:
the back panel is lined with 1.5 oz (0.6 mm) pigskin
the bottom is lined with 3.5 oz (1.4 mm) rigid leather
- 1 mm waxed thread
- edge dye
