When sketching the Seabiscuit, we were drawn to the story of the legendary 1930s racehorse. He was a knobby-kneed underdog who captured the heart of a nation through pure grit and an unstoppable will to win. We designed this pattern to capture that exact spirit—complete with rugged equestrian-style harness straps and heavy saddle stitching. It is designed to work hard, go the distance, and only get better with time.

Required Skills:
This project is best suited for leatherworkers with beginner and intermediate skills. You should be familiar with fundamental leatherwork tools (chisels/awl, stitching needles, cutters, edge bevelers). The video tutorial is a complete guide, so ambitious beginners with the right tools are encouraged to take on the challenge!
